Reflections on Marriage

1.One thing I have learned very well is that a bad marriage is like bad food; it takes more energy to digest than it gives back, thus depleting the Vitality of the Life Force.
Good food like a good marriage continually rejuvinates and replenishes the body, mind and spirit.
2.I'm told it's called Asthma; feeling smothered, suffocated, can't breathe; it is a terrible thing and part of my marriage experience. Why do I, why do any of us, wait so long, desperate to hang on and 'make' it better. It doesn't get better until you feel free, free enough for the bindings to finally loosen up and you can breathe again, deeply and fully, glad to be alive once more. That's the paradox.

Go Softly...

Go gently this day, my sisters...
Let your words fall softly....
The Wounded may be listening.

A Most Important Assignment

When the Christ stood upon those Ancient hills and asked us all to love God and one another as ourselves, I wonder how many people then, were just as perplexed as now and wondered “What does that mean, really?”
2000 years later, people everywhere are still asking themselves what and who
God is and how best to employ the concept of love into daily thinking, feeling and doing.
I do indeed Love being alive, and I must say, I attribute that to God, my Maker, Creator; He, She, It, whatever you like. I think though, that Loving would perhaps be easier to take in baby steps; easier to manage, easier to teach the young, easier to understand the process.
Kindness, for me, is about all I can consistently manage, one step that I know is a reflection of love. As I may not be up to the mark on loving everyone, I can at least have a ‘kindne
ss practice’ going on. And I say practice because that is what it takes: practice, consistently and constantly and sometimes, it seems no less daunting than loving. However, it seems easier somehow to be kind to myself when I can’t love myself and it certainly is easier to remember to be kind to someone else when love is the farthest thing from my mind. After all, God did make some folk to ‘earn our wings’ by.
Kids especially need easy to understand instructions when they are little: “Be nice to someone who’s having a bad day; someday, you may need some extra kindness too”. The love talk can come later in quiet moments when they are receptive, warm, safe and sleepy. It seeps into the consciousness and reminds them who they really are.
I like Kindness because it is an active state of participation that demands careful thought and it omits gossip, the ‘devil’s tongue’ in action; it makes us take a breath before we speak and gives us pause to contemplate result. It keeps us from doing harm.

The Power of Virtue

"A mighty power is unleased through the Virtues of mankind, and recorded on the Tablets of his Soul.

Such things reverberate through the Kingdom of God and bring forth Hope, in waves that spread through all the lands of Almighty Creation."

The Road to Redemption

"The time has come for many pilgrims to travel this road called Redemption-this journey Home. The time where every thought and word and act is measured for its purity; and thus the pilgrim is tested."

"Ask! 'Is this the thought, speech or act of a Holy One?' If it is not-Cease! Do not proceed!
The battle of good and evil is ever being fought and must be won in the Self! No force outside of you exists. The mind of man conjures evil and his weaknesses, bring it into being.

The time has come for many to come Home. Learn to be still within the self-let there be comfort in the quiet places of the Soul. Slow down - lest you rush to nowhere- Listen to the silence where the voice of God is 'felt' more than heard; where serenity and guidance are absorbed by the heart and mind.

In this way you are led away from 'evil'; for this is the inward battle each Being wages upon the Earth." Stillness brings Peace.

Angel of the Morning Light

Moving softly o’er the earth, she comes;
Stirring breezes, rippling lightwaves;
Gliding in on morning’s light.

Dear, gentle wisp of spirit light
Lovely creature of the Dawn...
How tenderly she comes.

O’ gentle, cleansing winged-one~
Bless me with your light!
Come to me, yes, come to me,
Let me breathe your whispered sigh!

How will we, you or I,
Know her when she comes,
This lovely Angel of the Dawn?

She comes to us on bless-ed wings....
A tender brush against the cheek and
A softly whispered sigh…

Let your spirit soar with her
When next she comes your way,
Release yourself and join her dance
In God's early morning light....

Ancient Voices

“Think you thee of the works in the hallowed *Halls of Alexandria as lost? I say to you they are not. Existing in each and every one of you, full access is there within your very DNA. All wisdom and knowledge gained and ‘lost’ exists in these hallowed tomes, within all beings of the human state. All history known recorded here and cannot be erased; all good, all ill. Imprinted too the unique traits of the individual born. To activate said traits the workings of the Soul; that sublime portion of Source out of which we spring.

And lest you think you are like the leaf blown around by fate, I say to you such ideas are pure folly! For each of us, in state of wise determining, decides with help of sage council, the hand which we are dealt. Such determinings are for the furthering of experience, exploration and knowledge appropriate for each stage of individual growth. So say not, “woe is me” or “o happy day”, for these are but sayings of the unenlightened mind. Better to cultivate ‘neutrality’ and open the doors of Peace! No, Soul is what determines your courses in life and each strand of DNA activates or not according to thine own plan.

The significators that shape the uniqueness of thy life are thus set; the manner of how they do unfold forge the path which you alone have choice to take. Accept or not accept the self-determined, yet oft forgot path of chosen life, makes for lessons victorious or an aperture for repetition.

Think you to ask, “Master, what is the soul?” I tell you truly, it is the Divine Essence of which you are a part. The mind of man upon the earth cannot contain the allness of Great Mystery, 'tis only when unencumbered by physical constraint it may loft high enough to merge with this said state. Yet think ye not you must await departed form-no, man was made to lift his mind free to heights sublime, untethered by the ‘little-mind’ with which ‘tis most familiar.

The little-mind - a fraction of the Greater Mind - which of we all partake; its realm is bound to Earth whilst other is bound for glory. Words are clumsy vehicles to carry such experience back. Lost in the realm of vibrations that belong not to Earthly state; color joined to frequencies ne’er before seen, sounds one cannot repeat nor ere forget, they return with us in subtle forms of glory and forever we are changed. Mind is quickened hence, thoughts flash where once they stumbled; knowing takes the place of query and light draws nigh to dwell in humble breast.

Life itself is the caller that draws the soul to rest in newborn form, and thus begins the grandest cycle ever known. Time and time again, life will have her way, until the place of Glory holds a truer fit for the Soul of man.

*Author's note:
It was in the city of Alexandria, Egypt, that the Library of Alexandria existed and it contained the most magnificient collection of literary works ever known to man. Coming from all around the world, these great 'tomes' of sacred wisdom and history as well as artworks were housed. It was completely destroyed by fire, and most historians feel this occured in 48 BCE when the city was invaded by the Romans and Julius Caesar accidently burned it down. Most scholars feel it was the greatest literary tragedy that the world has ever known!
